Emphasis is placed on various models used for<br />

providing vocational/career education to individuals<br />

with special needs. <strong>St</strong>udents study career<br />

assessment, programming and various transition<br />

models. Prerequisite: SPED 210 or equivalent.<br />

SPED 671. Adults with Disabilities 3 credits<br />

This course provides students with an introduction<br />

to adults with physical, cognitive, and sensory<br />

disabilities. The main focus will be on the psychosocial<br />

characteristics of having a disability.<br />

be discussed. <strong>St</strong>udents will explore how professionals<br />

can play a positive role in assisting individuals<br />

with disabilities. Prerequisite: Graduate<br />
