Requirements<br />

1. Three-year diploma graduates who are awarded<br />

90 hours are required to complete 30 credit<br />

hours, including 12 credit hours in any one<br />

area and nine credit hours in each of the two<br />

remaining areas.<br />

2. Two-year diploma graduates and graduates<br />

from a two-year hospital nursing program<br />

who are awarded 60 credit hours are required<br />

to complete 60 credit hours, including 24<br />

credit hours in any one area and 18 credit<br />

hours in each of the two remaining areas.<br />

3. In cases in which students have 60 credits for<br />

their two-year nursing programs and additional<br />

credits from other sources, a case by case<br />

review will determine the required distribution.<br />

In general, the same proportional spread<br />

of courses within the three areas will be made.<br />

4. <strong>St</strong>udents must have a cumulative grade-point<br />

average of at least 2.0 for all semester credits<br />

earned at <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Ambrose</strong> <strong>University</strong>.<br />

The Bachelor of Applied Management<br />

Technology Degree Requirements<br />

The Bachelor of Applied Management Technology<br />

degree program is designed to build on a<br />

two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS)<br />

degree. As an AAS degree holder, the student will<br />

have completed a specialized technical, vocational<br />

or professional study program and may now<br />

add general education and applied management<br />

studies to earn a baccalaureate degree.<br />

This study program will provide the graduate<br />

with basic skills which may be used in the management<br />

of materials, money, and human<br />

resources within the various activities, functions,<br />

and organizations which exist in manufacturing,<br />

industry, business, and service areas.<br />

Admission<br />

<strong>St</strong>udents eligible for admission to the Bachelor of<br />

Applied Management Technology degree program<br />

hold an AAS degree from an institution<br />

accredited by the North Central Association of<br />

Colleges and Schools (or the comparable association<br />

from another region) with a 2.0 grade-point<br />

average or above on a 4.0 scale. The Admissions<br />

Committee reserves the right to assign students<br />

probationary admissions status.<br />

Individual <strong>St</strong>udent Curriculum Plan<br />

Each student entering the program may have<br />

completed a different sequence of college-level<br />

courses considered for transfer—courses which<br />

are part of the AAS degree as well as other col-<br />
