2.04 EXPANSION JOINTS
A. Except where otherwise indicated or specified, expansion joints shall be single arch spool
type with control unit. Expansion joints shall be fabricated of synthetic elastomers and fabric
with metallic reinforcement. Joints shall be provided with split steel retaining rings. Flanges
and retaining rings shall be drilled to match standard 125 lb. ANSI B16.1.
