Checkthe instrument for any physical damage sustained during shipment.Notify In-Situ and file a claim with the carrier if there is any such damage;do not attempt to operate the instrument.Please save packing materials for future storage and shipping of yourMP TROLL 9500. The shipping boxes have been performance-testedand provide protection for the instrument and its accessories.Accessories may be shipped separately and should also be inspectedfor physical damage and the fulfillment of your order.Serial NumberThe serial number is located on the large label on the Multi-ParameterTROLL 9500 body, and also on a small label inside the batterycompartment. The serial number is programmed into the instrumentand displayed when the instrument is connected to a PC running Win-Situ 4 or Pocket-Situ 4. We recommend that owners keep a separaterecord of this number. Should your Multi-Parameter TROLL 9500 belost or stolen, the serial number is often necessary for tracing andrecovery, as well as any insurance claims. If necessary, In-Situ maintainscomplete records of original owner’s names and serial numbers.Serial numbers of the water-quality sensors are stored in sensormemory and displayed in the software when sensors are installed.To Our Customers . . .Thank you for your purchase of an In-Situ product.
