Deutschlands. Bezogen auf die Einwohnerzahl
werden nirgendwo sonst so viele IT-Unternehmen gegründet
wie in der bayerischen Landeshauptstadt. Zusammen
mit der IHK für München und Oberbayern
unterstützt die Landeshauptstadt München Unternehmensgründer
seit 1998 im Münchner Existenzgründungs-Büro
(MEB). Die kostenlosen Informationen
des MEB reichen von Themen wie Gründungsformalitäten,
Rechtsformwahl, Unternehmenskonzept bis
hin zu öffentlichen Finanzierungshilfen, Seminaren,
Gründungsnetzwerken und Gründungszentren. Neben
Informationsveranstaltungen bietet das MEB Einzelberatungen
an, in denen Fragen zum Businessplan,
zur Finanzierung oder zu steuerrechtlichen Fragen
geklärt werden. Rund 1 000 Gründungsinteressierte
nutzen jährlich die einstündige Beratung im MEB.
Dazu kommen über 1 100 Besucher der Infomationsveranstaltungen.
Die Landeshauptstadt München ist
zudem Gesellschafterin von Evobis, einem Netzwerk,
das vor allem innovative Start-ups im Hightech-Bereich
unterstützt. Evobis berät bei der Erstellung des
Businessplans, hilft bei der Suche nach Gründungsoder
Wachstumskapital und begleitet junge Start-ups
auf dem Weg zum erfolgreichen Unternehmen. In einem
dreistufigen Businessplan-Wettbewerb entwickeln
die Teilnehmer ihren optimalen Businessplan
mit Hilfe von intensivem Jury-Feedback und erhalten
potential company founders make use of the one-hour
advisory appointments offered by the MEB every year.
Also, more than 1,100 people attend the informational
events. Munich is also a stakeholder of Evobis, a network
that supports mainly innovative start-ups in the
high-tech field. Evobis offers advice in compiling a
business plan, helps in the search for initial or growth
capital and accompanies young start-ups on their way
to becoming successful companies. In a three-phase
business-plan competition, the participants develop
their best business plan with the aid of intense jury
feedback, and they get the opportunity to present their
ideas to investors. Every year there are prizes to the
value of more than 50,000 euros up for grabs. The city
is also a member of GründerRegio M, an organization
of the Munich universities with the mission of assisting
and accompanying start-ups coming from the universities.
With the Munich Fund, the city of Munich has
created a tool together with Stadtsparkasse München
to help founders of service companies that require little
capital and that have little creditworthiness to acquire
business loans quickly and unbureaucratically.
The loans are secured by a guarantee from the city,
which is then liable for 70% of the loan amount if the
borrower fails to make the repayment.
