A A tavern where the typical Bavarian
lifestyle is practiced
S The Weisse Bräuhaus stands
for traditional, Bavarian cuisine
– the Munich “Kronfleisch”
is delicious every time
So
informieren.
when Münchners speak of traditional hospitality, they
definitely mean this inn, which they affectionately refer
to as the “Schneider Weisse”. It is a tavern that
celebrates the typical Bavarian way of life, where everything
seems right: the drinks, the food, the service.
The kitchen prepares only authentic Bavarian dishes
and the original Munich “Kronfleisch” cuisine. This
Munich institution has long arrived in modern times,
though, and with Schneider Weisse’s tavern App, you
can stay in touch and stay up to date on the news
when you are not there.
The Weisses Bräuhaus was founded by Georg I Schneider
as a brewery with a tavern attached. To this day
it has remained the headquarters of this independent
family brewery, which had to relocate its production
to Kelheim in Lower Bavaria in 1946 due to war losses.
Then and now, old Munich stalwarts, students, travellers
and businesspeople come closer here at the beer
tables, at the latest when the waitress asks them to
squeeze up to make more space. And she most probably
will ask, because the hustle and bustle in here is
part of the sociable charm of this traditional tavern.
There is no more authentic way of enjoying the wheat
beer specialities from Schneider Weisse than here.
