Der 1992 eröffnete Münchner Airport rückte dank seiner
überproportionalen Wachstumserfolge binnen weniger
Jahre in den Kreis der passagierstärksten Flughäfen
Europas vor. Gesellschafter der 1949 gegründeten
FMG sind der Freistaat Bayern mit 51 Prozent der
Gesellschaftsanteile, die Bundesrepublik Deutschland

MUNICH AIRPORT opened in 1992 and soon became
one of the busiest passenger airports in Europe thanks
to its outstanding growth performance. The FMG was
established in 1949 and is owned by the Free State of
