Licht ist für uns Menschen so selbstverständlich, dass
es meist erst auffällt, wenn es fehlt. Menschen steuern
das Licht, aber – was viele nicht wissen – das Licht
steuert auch sie selbst. Denn Lichtdauer, Intensität
und Lichtfarbe haben einen erheblichen Einfluss auf
unser Leben und Wohlbefinden. Licht spielt in allen
Lebensbereichen eine Rolle – mit OSRAM ist man dabei
immer auf der richtigen Seite: Lampen und Lichtsysteme
von OSRAM schaffen die Voraussetzung für
eine schöne Sicht der Dinge, gewährleisten Sicherheit
und Komfort, ermöglichen den effizienten Einsatz von

Licht der Zukunft
Wer mit offenen Augen durch die Welt geht, hat es
längst bemerkt: dem energiesparenden Licht gehört
die Zukunft. Die Glühlampe weicht dem Wunsch nach
Strom sparenden Alternativen. Und das zu Recht,
denn die gute alte „Birne“ wandelt nur rund fünf Prozent
der eingesetzten Energie in Licht um, aus dem
Rest entsteht Wärme. Längst stellt OSRAM weitaus
energieeffizientere Technologien zur Verfügung: Halogen-
und Kompaktleuchtstofflampen oder auch verstärkt
Leuchtdioden (LED). Dennoch werden weltweit
ca. 19 Prozent des Strombedarfs zu Beleuchtungszwecken
verbraucht, knapp ein Drittel davon von

We take light so much for granted that we only notice
it when it fails. We control light, but many people do
not realise that light also controls us. The duration,
intensity and color of light have a considerable influence
on our lives and well-being. Lighting plays a role
in every sphere of life – but you cannot go wrong with
OSRAM. Lamps and lighting systems from OSRAM lay
the foundations for clear vision, provide security and
comfort, and offer a more efficient use of resources.
Lighting of the future
If you go through life with your eyes open, you will
have long since realised that energy-saving lighting
is part of the future. Light bulbs are giving way to the
need for electricity-saving alternatives. And for good
reason, as the good old bulb converts only around
five percent of the supplied energy into light; the rest
becomes heat. OSRAM already offers much more energy-efficient
technologies: halogen lamps, compact
fluorescent lamps and the increasingly popular lightemitting
diodes (LEDs). Nevertheless, approx. 19 percent
of electricity consumption worldwide is for lighting
purposes, almost a third of which goes on light
bulbs. At home, you could save up to 80 percent of
energy with the same light efficiency by using energysaving
