München - Dynamischer Wirtschaftsstandort und Kulturraum im Herzen Europas

Und die Liste lässt sich weiter fortführen: München ist
Musikstadt mit international anerkannten Orchestern,
Medienstadt, Biotech-Standort, Olympiastadt (und
wird es vielleicht noch einmal!)...
Und es gibt noch weit mehr über die Landeshauptstadt
zu sagen... München zeichnet sich ganz besonders
durch seine herausragende Lebensqualität aus:
vom geselligen Beisammensein in den traditionellen
Biergärten oder an der renaturierten Isar, von erholsamen
Stunden im Englischen Garten oder auf einem
der nahen Hausberge, vom quirligen Leben im Uni-
Viertel und in der Münchner Ausgehszene über die
kulturellen Angebote, die ihresgleichen suchen bis hin
zu dem Gefühl, in einer sicheren Stadt zu leben... Es
gibt wohl weltweit wenige Orte, die ein so hohes Maß
an so genannten „weichen Standortfaktoren“ zu bieten
haben.
Ich möchte Sie, liebe Leser, ganz herzlich willkommen
heißen und Ihnen als Gast oder Einheimischer

And the list goes on: Munich is a music town with
internationally recognised orchestras, a media city,
a biotech venue, Olympic host (perhaps again in the
near future!)... and there is much more to say about
our state capital as well...
One very special feature of Munich is the excellent
quality of life it offers: from convivial gatherings in the
traditional beer gardens or on the banks of the renaturalised
Isar, to relaxing hours in the English Garden
or on one of the nearby foothills or mountains, to the
exuberance of the university quarter, the nightlife and
the unbeatable cultural offerings, right through to the
simple feeling of feeling safe in one’s home town...
There are very few places in the world that offer such
a high level of “soft locational factors”.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you,
whether you are a guest to our town or a local, and
