Parmi les mammifères recensés, les espèces patrimoniales concernent uniquement 2<br />

espèces <strong>de</strong> chauves-souris :<br />

- Barbastelle (Barbastel<strong>la</strong> barbastellus).<br />

- P<strong>et</strong>it Rhinolophe (Rhinolophus hipposi<strong>de</strong>ros).<br />

Ces espèces sont protégées en France, inscrites aux annexes II <strong>et</strong> IV <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> directive<br />

« Habitats », inscrites comme espèces déterminantes en Aquitaine <strong>et</strong> revêtent un<br />

caractère patrimonial fort. Au sein <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> zone d’étu<strong>de</strong>, <strong>la</strong> présence <strong>de</strong> ces espèces<br />

constitue un enjeu patrimonial fort.<br />
