Richtlijn Diagnostiek en behandeling Acute Diverticulitis van het Colon

Aanbevelingen
Bij driekwart van de patiënten is de combinatie van anamnese, lichamelijk onderzoek en laboratorium
onderzoek onvoldoende betrouwbaar om de diagnose acute diverticulitis te stellen en is beeldvorming
geïndiceerd.
Patiënten die zich presenteren op de SEH met de trias: pijn links onder in de buik bij lichamelijk
onderzoek, de afwezigheid van braken en een CRP waarde van meer dan 50 mg/l hebben
hoogstwaarschijnlijk een acute diverticulitis. Voor het stellen van de diagnose kan bij deze categorie
patiënten aanvullende beeldvorming achterwege worden gelaten, als er geen verdenking is op een
gecompliceerde diverticulitis.
