illustrate potential pesticide exposure pathways <strong>and</strong> associated listed resources’<br />

responses. An example of a conceptual model is presented in Figure 3 for Pacific<br />

salmonids. In it, we illustrate where the pesticides generally reside in the environment<br />

following application, how pesticides may co-occur with listed species <strong>and</strong> their habitats,<br />

<strong>and</strong> how the individuals/habitat may respond upon exposure to them. In the case of<br />

Pacific salmonids, we ascribe exposure <strong>and</strong> response to specific life stages of individuals<br />

<strong>and</strong> then assess individual fitness endpoints sensitive to the action’s stressors.<br />
