) Vendor shall manage Active-Passive Exchange Enterprise 2000 server
hosted on Windows Advanced 2000 server in Noida.
c) User account management – Creation, deletion and transfer (movement) of
mail Boxes and the corresponding users.
d) Monitoring the mail traffic queue and the disk space / memory / Processor
usage for mail. Any abnormalities are to be escalated properly under
intimation to IT in-charge at GAIL.
e) Provide support for DC, ADC Root Management and Configuration of
various services like DNS, DHCP & RAS and following activities for Window
2000 / 2003 Servers.
i. File level and share level access control
ii. Security updates and OS Patch management
iii. Hot Fixes and service packs for OS
iv. Group and system policies implementation.
v. OS specific DLL corruption handling.
vi. Share & access point controls.
vii. Security updates and OS patch management
f) Creation / Installation of profiles and migration of mail boxes at the client’s
PC as and when required.
g) Maintaining the mail data size on Server & providing access right for e-mail
sending & receiving as per e-mail policy of GAIL.
h) Safeguarding the e-mail Servers against viruses through e-mails.
i) Contractor shall generate & submit Monthly MIS report on the details of
mail boxes created, deleted and transferred and time taken for the same.
j) To diagnose end user problems and server-side problems and fix them for
availability of mail services.
k) Checking of Outlook Web access (OWA) server for the e-mail services.
l) X.400 / SMTP / Internet Mail Service connector creation and maintenance.
m) Any other services required for successful running of mail services and
usage by users.
2.2.6 SECURITY & OTHER SERVERS MANAGEMENT SERVICES
The scope shall cover following Servers installed in Noida & Corporate Office,
