shall also be arranged by the vendor to attend the official calls of that
specific terminal location as per SLR.
2.6.2 FOR SERVERS, NETWORKING DEVICES & PERIPHERALS
MANAGEMENT AT NOIDA & CORPORATE OFFICE
(a) The Contractor shall provide MSS & FMS support of Servers &
Network Management on 24*7, 365 days a year basis at Noida Data
center. Resident Data Centre Support engineers (DSE) shall be deputed
in shifts, supporting at Data Center (Gigalink), Noida and Corporate
office, Delhi.
(b) The Resident Data Centre Support engineers (DSE) shall be deployed
in the GAIL Data Centre, Noida as per following tentative plan
Shift A & B : 2nos in each shift
General Shift : 3 nos
Note: On Sunday & GAIL Holiday – General shift will not work.
As these services are needed for 365 days a year at Noida Data center,
thus, services as required shall be for 365 days a year basis, including
holidays. Contractor shall ensure backup of these engineers for running the
services throughout the year and quote accordingly.
(c) All leave and /or absence of the personnael posted will have to be
planned in advance and proper replancement to be made available. In
order to meet the contingency arising out of sudden and unplanned
absence of key personnals, contractor may get the profile of the panel
of the proessionals proposed to be substituted, approved from GAIL at
the commencement or during of execution of the contract. These
replacement engineers should be of same qualificatiosn / experience
and fully trained to make understand their roles & resplnsibility.
(d) The Resident Data Centre Support engineer (DSE) deputed at GAIL
Corporate office for providing MSS & FMS Services shall be MCA / B.E. /
B.Tech In Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information
Technology / E&T from Govt. recognized Institute with minimum Three
years in-line job experience of working on different platforms,
mentioned in the Scope of Work.
(e) All the Datacenter Support Engineer (DSE) deputed by the contractor
for execution of the contract shall be regular employee of the
contractor. Sub-contract / franchisee in terms of manpower deployment
will not be acceptable.
(f) The Contractor shall ensure deployment of required nos. of qualified &
trained engineers as Resident Data Centre Support engineers (DSE) at
Noida Data center and two nos of qualified & trained engineers as DSE at
corporate office, New Delhi for providing FMS / technical support as per
scope of work for Desktop, Database & Network Management. These
Resident Data Centre Support engineers (DSE) must have skill set as per
the specifications mentioned in the Annexure - K.
