FMS - GAIL

Contractor shall conduct a detailed verification of the background of all
deployed manpower and depute them for GAIL assignment only after
confirming their suitability and certify accordingly before deployment of
manpower. Contractor shall be held responsible in case information
submitted to GAIL was found incorrect. Also, this verification & certification
shall be done for all the manpower deployed in substitution / replacement /
temporary time gap arrangement etc.
(g) Any substitution of Resident Service engineers / Data Center engineers /
Operation Manager / Help desk superviser & other Technical & non technical
personnels shall be done with prior intimation to engineer-in-charge of
respective sites. The Contractor shall immediately provide suitable qualified
and experienced replacement to GAIL at designated sites and required proof
of employer, PF certificate, qualification and experience shall be submitted
at GAIL.
(h) All the critical systems as identified by GAIL shall be listed and physically
monitored & checked for upkeeping and availability of the services on
regular basis during the day.
(i) Hardware & software redundancy of the systems shall be tested in
systematic way on quarterly basis in coordination with vendors.
(j) Contractor must ensure proper handover / Takeover of manpower deployed
for FMS services in case any engineer resigns / not available for longer
period. The handshaking period shall be there for minimum 15 days without
which the penalty shall be levied as per the formula mentioned in payment
terms.
(i) If any engineer is found to be not having requisite qualification or skill or his
performance or conduct is not found satisfactory, he shall be summarily
removed within 48 hours of being given notice in writing by GAIL. The
Contractor shall provide a substitute of the notified personnel within a
period of one week from the time of receipt of notice, failing which the
Contractor shall be liable for non-performance deduction for entire period of
absence.
(j) The Contractor shall at his own cost, arrange for deployment of their RSE’s,
/ DSE’s, Support staff at respective sites and also arrange for necessary
insurance to cover all the risks assumed by the Contractor in respect of its
deputed personnel for the execution of this contract. During the entire
period of the Contract (including extended period), GAIL shall have no
liability against any loss / damage / injury etc. to the contractor personnel
or any other concerned regard what-so-ever.
(n) The Contractor shall make his own arrangement for transportation of the
deployed service engineer / Support staff to perform the maintenance
related activities at all sites and inside plant area. For bigger plant location,
such as Pata & Vijaipur, contractor must arrange & provide suitable two
wheeler conveyance facility to their RSE’s along with valid documents and
driving license etc. for their easy accessability inside the plant areas.
