FMS - GAIL

(l) Other GAIL sites where dedicated resident engineer is not available, the
Contractor shall either immediately provide telephonic support or depute his
Engineer from contractor nearest support center for reaching the site at the
earliest possible time & maintain the System availability / uptime as per SLR
at those locations. The Contractor shall devise and maintain unfailing
method of recording all the relevant details of such calls at GAIL for the
ease of calculation of down time and other MIS reports as per the provision
of contract.
(m) Contractor shall provide mobile phones at his own cost, to all the deputed
technical resources at all sites so that they could be contacted by GAIL at
any time.
(n) The Contractor shall ensure that all its personnel deputed for required
services during the tenure of the Contract and any time thereafter maintain
in the strictest confidence all information relating to the work and shall not,
unless so authorized in writing by GAIIL, divulge or grant access to any
information about the work or its results. The Contractor and / or his
deputed persons shall not destroy / alter any report, note and technical
data relating to the operation / work and not required by GAIL. The
obligation is continuing one and shall survive after the completion /
termination of this agreement. Any violation in this regard may lead to the
termination of the contract by GAIL.
(o) The Contractor and / or his deputed personnel shall not carry any written
material, layout, diagrams, Floppy Diskettes, Hard Disk, CD, Storage Tapes,
LTO, Pen drive or any other media with S/w, programs and data etc.
belonging to GAIL out of any of GAIL sites without the prior written
permission from GAIL. Any violation in this regard by the Contractor or by
his deputed personnel’s, GAIL shall be free to take necessary action as
deemed fit on a case to case basis against the Contractor or his involved
personnel apart from termination of the Contract.
(p) Bachelor / Family accommodation & office transport (to & fro from township)
can be considered by GAIL for the contractor deputed personals at
respective plant sites where GAIL colony is available. Such a facility can be
provided on chargeable basis as per the prevailing rates fixed by GAIL from
time to time. Provision of such a facility shall not be binding on GAIL and
shall be subject to its availability & approval by competent authority of GAIL
at the site. Payment towards the provision of such facilities shall be as per
GAIL norms, shall be made directly by Contractor at respective sites. In
case the Contractor fails to settle such accounts, GAIL reserves the right to
get the accommodation vacated from the resident support staffs.
(q) The Contractor and his deputed personnel’s shall maintain strict discipline
and good contact among its employees and shall abide by and conform to
all the rules and regulations promulgated by the GAIL. In case if any
unacceptable incident makes GAIL feel that the conduct of any of the
Contractor personnel is detrimental to GAIL interest, GAIL shall have the
unqualified right to request the Contractor for the removal of such a person
either for incompetence, unreliability, misbehavior, security reasons etc.
while on or off the job. The Contractor shall comply with any such request
of GAIL to remove such personnel at the Contractor’s expense
