Baseband Block
Before a multi segment configuration file can be saved, a file name must be entered in
"Output File", since this is saved with the configuration file for internal purposes.
Remote command:
The configuration file to be used for the creation of the multi segment waveform is defined
with the command:
​[:​SOURce]:​BB:​ARBitrary:​WSEGment:​CREate​
The file name of the waveform file is always determined with the command ​[:​
SOURce]:​BB:​ARBitrary:​WSEGment:​CONFigure:​OFILe​
Load List
Opens the file menu to select the configuration file to be edited.

New List
Calls the "Create Multi Segment Waveform List" dialog to enter the name of the new file.
A new new configuration table is created.

5.10.6 Import IQ Data
The import system makes it possible to extend R&S WinIQSIM2 by user-specific systems.
A second program running at the same time as R&S WinIQSIM2 transfers the waveform
(unprocessed signal) to R&S WinIQSIM2. In R&S WinIQSIM2, the signal undergoes all
known processing stages from filtering to signal transfer to the selected signal or modulation
generator, such as R&S SMU for instance.
So, all the user has to do is generate the (unfiltered) waveform. All other functions such
as filtering, graphics display, and transferring the signal to the selected instrument are
provided by R&S WinIQSIM2.
The communication between R&S WinIQSIM2 and an application take place via an TCP/
IP interface.
