Main Window - Signal Flow Diagram<br />

Remote Control of the Vector Signal Generator<br />

► In the Main window, in the "Vec Sig Gen Block > Config > Remote Control (SCPI)".<br />

The ​Remote Control Vec Sig Gen dialog opens.<br />

Remote Control ARB<br />

In the "Remote Control ARB" dialog, the following fields and buttons are displayed:<br />

"Base Band<br />

State on"<br />

"Load Wavefile"<br />

"Active Output"<br />

"Output Type"<br />

"Amplitude"<br />

"Clockrate"<br />

Enables/disables the baseband output of the instrument.<br />

Opens the SCPI File Explorer to select a file on the instrument which is<br />

to be loaded into the ARB. The file is displayed in the area right of the<br />

button.<br />

Sets the active output of the instrument to Analog out or Digital out, if<br />

the instrument is equipped accordingly.<br />

Selects analog output type options:<br />

●<br />

●<br />

Balanced<br />

Unbalanced<br />

No options for digital output type.<br />

Sets the amplitude of an instrument. This depends on the settings of<br />

"Active Output" and "Output Type". The analog output amplitudes are<br />

given in Volt, the digital output amplitudes in a value related to Full Scale<br />

(FS).<br />

Sets the clock rate of the instrument.<br />

Remote Control Vec Sig Gen<br />

In the "Remote Control Vec Sig Gen" dialog, the following fields are displayed:<br />

"Path"<br />

"RF State on"<br />

"Power"<br />

"Frequency"<br />

Selects the path to be controlled if the instrument is equipped with more<br />

than one path.<br />

Enables/disables the radio frequency output of the instrument.<br />

Sets the power of the instrument.<br />

Sets the frequency of the instrument.<br />
