Remote Control of the Vector Signal Generator
► In the Main window, in the "Vec Sig Gen Block > Config > Remote Control (SCPI)".
The ​Remote Control Vec Sig Gen dialog opens.
Remote Control ARB
In the "Remote Control ARB" dialog, the following fields and buttons are displayed:
"Base Band
State on"
"Load Wavefile"
"Active Output"
"Output Type"
"Amplitude"
"Clockrate"
Enables/disables the baseband output of the instrument.
Opens the SCPI File Explorer to select a file on the instrument which is
to be loaded into the ARB. The file is displayed in the area right of the
button.
Sets the active output of the instrument to Analog out or Digital out, if
the instrument is equipped accordingly.
Selects analog output type options:

Balanced
Unbalanced
No options for digital output type.
Sets the amplitude of an instrument. This depends on the settings of
"Active Output" and "Output Type". The analog output amplitudes are
given in Volt, the digital output amplitudes in a value related to Full Scale
(FS).
Sets the clock rate of the instrument.
Remote Control Vec Sig Gen
In the "Remote Control Vec Sig Gen" dialog, the following fields are displayed:
"Path"
"RF State on"
"Power"
"Frequency"
Selects the path to be controlled if the instrument is equipped with more
than one path.
Enables/disables the radio frequency output of the instrument.
Sets the power of the instrument.
Sets the frequency of the instrument.
