10. Click "Cancel" button to discard settings and to close the dialog.
5.6.2 Editing Instruments
1. In the "Available Instruments" group box, the instruments are listed.
2. Select the instrument to be edited and click the "Edit" button.
The "Configure Instruments - Edit" dialog opens.
3. Change the settings and click OK.
The settings are edited.
5.6.3 Scanning for Available Instruments
1. Open the "Configure Instruments" dialog by selecting "Transmission > Instruments".
The "Configure Instruments" dialog opens.
2. Click the "Scan" button to scan the desired domain for the instrument.
All instruments in the desired domain which are connected to the LAN or via GPIB or
USB and being switched on are displayed in the"Available Instruments" list.
R&S WinIQSIM2 obtains all information for connecting to the instrument, so further
configuration is not necessary.
For further details regarding the prerequisites using the scan feature, refer to ​chapter
4.3.1, "Configuring an Instrument", on page 17.
5.6.4 Deleting Instruments
1. In the Main window, select "Transmission > Instruments".
The "Configure Instruments" dialog opens.
2. Select the instrument to be deleted and click the "Delete" button.
The selected instrument is deleted.
5.6.5 Transmitting the Signals
1. In the Main window, select "Transmission > Transmit".
The "Waveform Transmission To Arbitrary Signal Generator" dialog opens.
