Transmission Menu
5.5.2.2 Temporary Files
You can define a location where you want to save the R&S WinIQSIM2 temporary files.
1. From the "File" menu, select "Setup > Temporary Files".
The "Temporary Files" dialog opens.
2. In the "Folder" field, the currently selected location for temporary R&S WinIQSIM2
files is displayed.
3. To change the folder, click "Browse".
The "Browse For Folder" dialog opens.
4. Select the folder of your choice, and click OK.
The selected folder is displayed with the complete path in the "Folder" field.
5. To delete the contents in the folder, click "Delete Contents".
A message box opens.
6. Click OK to delete all the files in the folder.
5.6 Transmission Menu
In the following, all settings that are responsible for transmission of the waveform file from
R&S WinIQSIM2 to the instrument are described.
5.6.1 Creating New Instruments
1. In the Main window, select "Transmission > Instruments".
The Configure Instruments dialog opens.
2. Click the "New" button.
The "Configure Instruments - New" dialog opens to register a new instrument. The
number of the instrument is counted by R&S WinIQSIM2 by default.
