Remote Control Commands
MMEMory Subsystem
● The [state: start time] pairs in turn are separated by semicolons ";".
● The list state can be either 0 or 1.
●
The time unit is the simple period.
Example:
"CW MODE LIST 0:0;380:1" for a CW trace:
The list status starts at time 0 with 0, and at time point 380 symbol periods after start, it
With the commands BB:DM:CLISt:... you can also generate control lists in binary
7.3 MMEMory Subsystem
The MMEMory subsystem (Mass Memory) contains the commands for managing files
and directories as well as for loading and storing complete instrument settings in files.
The various drives can be selected using the "mass storage unit specifier " . The
Naming Convention): \\server\share.
The default drive is determined using the command MMEMory:MSIS .
The C: drive is a protected system drive. This drive should not be accessed. Reconstruction
of the system partition will not be possible without loss of data.
Use the command :SYSTem:MMEMory:PATH:USER? to query the path of the directory
for user-defined data.
7.3.1 File Naming Conventions
The file name can be of any length and no distinction is made between uppercase and
lowercase letters.
The file and the optional file extension are separated by a dot. All letters and numbers
are permitted (numbers are, however, not permitted at the beginning of the file name). If
be avoided since they are used in file paths. A number of names are reserved for the
