Remote Control Commands
SOURce:AWGN Subsystem
Example:
Usage:
AWGN:FREQ:RES?
queries the actual frequency of the interfering sine
Query only
Manual operation: See "Resulting CW Frequency - AWGN" on page 124
[:SOURce]:AWGN:FREQuency:TARGet
Sets the desired frequency of the sine in AWGN:MODE CW mode.
The range of this parameter is limited to ± (Symbol Rate + Sample Rate)/4
Parameters:

Example:
float
Range: -40E6 to 40E6
Increment: 0.01
*RST: 0
AWGN:FREQ:TARG 2kHz
sets a frequency of 2 kHz for the interfering sine.
Manual operation: See "Target CW Frequency - AWGN" on page 124
[:SOURce]:AWGN:MODE
Selects the mode for generating the interfering signal.
Parameters:

Example:
ONLY | ADD | CW
ADD
The AWGN noise signal is added to the baseband signal.
ONLY
The pure AWGN noise signal is modulated to the carrier. The connection
to the baseband is interrupted.
CW
The sine interfering signal is added to the baseband signal.
*RST:
ADD
SOURce:AWGN:MODE ONLY
SOURce:AWGN:STATe ON
selects the generation of a pure noise and activates it
Manual operation: See "Mode - AWGN" on page 122
[:SOURce]:AWGN:POWer:CARRier
available for Additive Noise and CW Interferer (SOUR:AWGN:MODE ADD|CW) modes
