Getting Started<br />

Signal Configuration Examples<br />

2. Make the following entries:<br />

"System Bandwidth" = 2 kHz<br />

"Carrier/Noise Ratio" = 30 dB<br />

3. Click the "State" button to change the state to On.<br />

A bar appears indicating the calculation progress. The AWGN is generated. It can be<br />

checked by means of a graphic tool.<br />

4. To display the AWGN signal, in the Main window, select "Graphics", point to "Graphic<br />

2", and click "Graphic 2 (Preview Only)".<br />

A small graphics display labelled "Graphic 2" opens at the bottom of the block diagram.<br />

A small icon shows up in the signal flow path indicating the position from where<br />

the graphics obtain information.<br />

5. Double-click the small graphics display to open the graphics dialog.<br />

6. Make the following entries:<br />

"IQ Source" = AWGN<br />

"Mode" = FFT Magnitude<br />

7. To display the graphics dialog for the baseband signal, in the Main window, select<br />

"Graphics", point to "Graphic 1", and click "Graphic 1 (Complete)".<br />

The "Graphics" dialog for the baseband signal opens.<br />

8. Make the following entries:<br />
