Setting graphics cursors into a representation
There are two cursors available for measurements inside the graphs: A red cursor and a
green one. The cursors are shaped as a vertical line. The cursors can be placed by mouse
in certain positions.
1. Left-click on one of the cursors and hold down the left mouse button. Drag the mouse
to the position where you want to place the cursor. Release the mouse button.
Note: If you choose a "Viewport" where the cursors are not located, it will be impossible
to use the mouse to manipulate the cursors. In this case or in order to place the
cursors precisely, the cursor can be positioned by an value entry.
2. In the "Cursor 1" group box, the cursor position on the X-axis is set. In the "Cursor
2" group box, the cursor position on the Y-axis is set. Type the exact position in the
"t" field.
The cursor moves to the defined position, giving the Y-axis values in the "i(t)" und
"q(t)" fields. The values are not editable. In the "Delta: 0 - X" group box, the difference
(delta) between the X-axis value and Y-axis value of the cursor position is displayed.
3. Optional, in the "Delta: 1 - 2" group box, a value can be entered and the red cursor
will adapt to the desired delta value.
The signal can be analyzed.
Using the Zoom Out button
► If a waveform has been zoomed, the "Zoom Out" button changes from inactive to
active.
Tip: The "Zoom Ou"t button always returns the display to the state before all zoom
operations.
