The SOURce:AWGN subsystem contains the commands for setting the noise generator.<br />

These commands require option R&S <strong>WinIQSIM2</strong>-K262 (Additive White Gaussian<br />

Sets the bit rate which is used for calculation of bit energy to noise power ratio from carrier/<br />

noise ratio for Digital Standard signals.<br />

For "Custom Digital Mod" signals, the bit rate which is used for calculation can be queried<br />

with this command.<br />

Valid units are bps, kbps and mabps as well as b/s, kb/s and mab/s.<br />

SOURce1:AWGN:BRATe?<br />

queries the bit rate which is used for calculation of the Eb/N0 value<br />

from the C/N value.<br />

Sets the system bandwidth. The noise signal at the level which corresponds to the specified<br />

carrier/noise ratio is generated in the bandwidth specified here.<br />
