Signal Configuration Examples
2. Click the "Remote" tab, and activate "Allow" users to connect remotely to this computer.
3. Click OK.
Remote Desktop is enabled.
To transmit the signal to the R&S AFQ, perform as follows:
1. In the Main window, in the tool bar, click the "Transmit" button .
The "Waveform Transmission To Arbitrary Signal Generator" dialog opens.
2. In the "Source" group box, select "Internal (WinIQSIM2)". The file generated latest is
chosen.
3. In the "Destination" group box, choose "Instrument" and click the "File" button.
A file browser dialog of the destination device opens to prompt the destination file
name.
Type in a file name and click OK.
4. Enable the "Automatically Load and Start Waveform" check box.
After the waveform has been successfully transmitted to the device, the signal will
immediately be generated by the R&S AFQ.
5. Click the "Transmit" button to start the transmission.
A progress bar indicates the status of the transmission process. If the transmission
has been successful, the waveform will be loaded into the ARB and is available at
the output connectors of the R&S AFQ.
