Moreover, Bangkok Sustainable City conditionsshould consist of the most efficient social structures and balance of urban areas torural areas. Also, the security of social equity should be taken into account. Finally,indicator measurement will determine the success of the Compact City Policywhich will be measured by indicators of quality of life and saving of energy.To this end, it is necessary to accumulate detailed data by promptly formulating anobservation system. The study proposes the following:(1)Shift from rapid-growth-type urban policies and land planning to policiessuitable for a mature society.(2)Creation of urban environments as scenes of living and fostering children.(3)Creation of a network of medium-to-small sized cities in order to promotenation building on a basis of decentralization.(4)Establishment of a wide-area policy to make and enforce offices exceedinglocal municipalities in mega city areas.263
