<strong>The</strong>me B: Creating a livable, healthy and environmentally viable cities<strong>The</strong> on-going research project employs a combination of face-to-face interviewswith industry professionals, Delphi study among experienced practitioners andacademics, and case study techniques to collect expert opinions as well as real-lifeproject information. This is coupled with secondary data such as existinggovernment guidelines on environment impact assessment and management,sustainable construction environment and literatures on sustainability research(Figure 5). Both the primary and secondary data will provide triangulation ofresults covering the perceptions of various stakeholders in infrastructure projectsthat shall underpin the basis for establishing decision-making process model forsustainable infrastructure projects.Guidelines on sustainabledevelopment & EnvironmentalImpact Assessment1. With thedifferent perceptions and views shared, discussed, debated, and with commonvalues and mutual benefits identified, fragmentation on the responsible roles ofsustainability will be avoided. Accordingly, this helps facilitate collaboration,consultation and communication among all stakeholders involved in order to476
