Residents’ satisfaction with the physical characteristics of semi publicspacesTo determine whether the effect of physical quality of semi-public spaces onresidents’ satisfaction with well-being was significant, a multiple generalizedlinear model analysis was conducted. The analysis results found that a generalizedlinear model is established as a significant correlation model between residents’well-being and the physical characteristics of semi-public spaces. It was found thatthe comfortability of semi-public spaces influences residents’ satisfaction withhealth, and that the diversity of semi-public spaces influences residents’satisfaction with their interaction with neighbors. It was also found that there is acorrelation between semi-public spaces’ scale and accessibility and residents’satisfaction with the use of leisure, and that all characteristics of semi-publicspaces influence residents’ satisfaction with safety/security.558
