Over the period 2007-2009, there were a total of 249 deaths in men and 350 deaths in
women due to stroke. The figures for Hull differ slightly from the Compendium because
different population estimates have been used, and it is not possible to present the
information for all areas due to small numbers (marked with an asterisk in the table).
