the timing associated with QOF with population measured in January and numbers on the
register measured in March.
Table 271 presents the prevalence of diabetes for patients aged 17+ years for 2009/10
for Hull and comparator areas (see section 3.3.3 on page 44), as well as for England.
The prevalence of diabetes will be influenced by ethnicity, and the percentage of non-
White British population is particularly high in Coventry (25%), Derby (18%), Leicester
(42%), Sandwell (25%) and Wolverhampton (27%) compared to Hull (9%) as illustrated
