วัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพฯ (BACC) โดยมีคุณชนะ สัมพลัง<br />
นายกสมาคมสถาปนิกสยามฯ กล่าวเปิดงาน และได้พูดถึง<br />
วัตถุประสงค์ในการจัด <strong>ASA</strong> International Lecture Series<br />
ครั้งนี้ว่าเป็นการนำาสถาปนิกจากหลากหลาย ภูมิภาค<br />
ของโลก มาแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ การทำางาน วิธีคิด<br />
และแนวทางการออกแบบ รวมถึงถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้<br />
และคุณค่าของการ ออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรม ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ใน<br />
บริบทที่ต่างออกไปจากไทย โดยสถาปนิกไทยเองจะได้<br />
รับประโยชน์ต่อเมื่อนำามา ปรับใช้อย่างเหมาะสม สถาปนิก<br />
Joshua Ramus เคยบรรยายที่ประเทศไทยในการจัดงาน<br />
ของ สมาคมฯ เมื่อ 13 ปีที่แล้ว ในครั้งนี้จึงนับเป็นโอกาส<br />
ครั้งที่สองของเขาในการบรรยายให้กับสถาปนิกไทย<br />

The founder of REX, Joshua Ramus, presented<br />
Rethinking Flexibility as part of the <strong>ASA</strong> International<br />
Lecture Series on Saturday, June 24, <strong>2023</strong>,<br />
in the afternoon at the Bangkok Art and Culture<br />
Center (BACC). Mr. Chana Sumpalung, president<br />
of the Association of Siamese Architects, gave the<br />
opening remarks and discussed the purpose of<br />
this <strong>ASA</strong> International Lecture Series, which is to<br />
bring together architects from various regions of<br />
the world to share their experiences, work, ideas,<br />
and design guidelines. Additionally, it seeks to<br />
transmit knowledge and the value of architectural<br />
design to contexts other than Thailand. Thai<br />
architects will only benefit if they are employed<br />
appropriately. This is the second time that Joshua<br />
Ramus has shared his vision with Thai architects,<br />
as he previously did so 13 years ago at the association’s<br />
event in Thailand.
