OLD INTO NEW 93 6 A collection of charming, dark-colored wooden buildings beautifully adorns the picturesque landscape, extending a warm invitation to visitors. The structures create a pleasing contrast with the white walls and the black and white woven pattern. The alternating, angled series of laths cast delightful shadows, while the blue aquatic mass of the pool makes its presence known. Rows and rows of coconut trees add to the idyllic scene, leading to a stunning curved beach on Samui Island. All of these exist as parts of Kimpton Kitalay Samui, setting this beachfront resort apart from other establishments ubiquitous in this tropical paradise. 5 The project’s design was initially completed and underwent a construction phase before all operations came to a halt.
