ปาเลสไตน์ มาเลเซีย หรือในไต้หวันเอง Chen ได้ตอบโจทย์
การสัมมนาเรื่อง Architecture as a Dialogue for All ด้วย
การบรรยายในหัวข้อเรื่อง “การประสบพบเจอสิ่งต่างๆ
ในชีวิตประจำาวัน” จากการเริ่มต้นตั้งคำาถามว่า “เราจะ
สามารถออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมอย่างไร ที่จะไม่เป็นการ
ผลาญทรัพยากรธรรมชาติเพียงอย่างเดียว และจะทำา
อย่างไรให้เราสามารถอยู่ร่วมกับสิ่งแวดล้อมได้อย่างเกิด
ประโยชน์สูงสุด (co-create)”
Chen ได้อธิบายหลักการทำางานของ ArchiBlur Lab ซึ่ง
ประกอบไปด้วย 3 ส่วน ได้แก่ การค้นหาฟังก์ชั่นและลงมือ
ก่อสร้าง (Architecture Action) การร่วมมือกับศิลปินเพื่อ
ศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ศิลปะบนพื้นที่ (Art Archeology) และการ
ลงสนามทำาการศึกษาบนพื้นที่จริง (History Reconnaissance)
และเพื่อให้สืบเนืองกับนิทรรศการ Infinity Ground นั้น Chen
ได้ยกตัวอย่างผลงานของ ArchiBlur Lab ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ
พื้นดินมาบรรยาย 2 ตัวอย่างด้วยกัน ผลงานแรกชื่อ Urban
Archipelago Project เป็นผลงานที่มีลักษณะเหมือนบ้าน
เคลื่อนที่ที่สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนสถานที่ตั้งและประโยชน์ใช้สอย
ให้ตอบสนองกับความต้องการของผู้คนในย่านนั้นๆ ได้ โดย
ไม่ยึดติดอยู่กับพื้นดิน อีกผลงานหนึ่งเป็นผลงานที่ยึดติด
กับพื้นดิน เป็นการออกแบบภูมิสถาปัตยกรรมใหม่ให้กับ
ลานส่วนกลางของมหาวิทยาลัย CYCU ท้ายสุด Chen ได้
แนะนำาให้ผู้ฟังลองกลับไปคิดว่า “พวกเราจะออกแบบ
สถาปัตยกรรมอย่างไรให้ ‘เกิดบทสนทนา’ กับผู้คน ชุมชน
และพื้นที่โดยรอบได้”
Associate Professor Hsuan-Chen Chen is a lecturer
at the Faculty of Architecture at Chung Yuan Christian
University and founded ArchiBlur Lab with his
team in 2015 to experiment and showcase his work
around the world. Whether in Palestine, Malaysia,
or Taiwan itself, Chen answered the questions of
Architecture as a Dialogue for All with a lecture
titled “The Encounter of Life” with a question: How
can we design architecture that will not be a waste
of natural resources alone, and what can we do
to co-exist with the environment to the greatest
benefit?”
Chen provides an overview of the operational
framework of ArchiBlur Lab, comprising three
fundamental components: architecture action, art
archeology, and history reconnaissance. Chen referenced
the work of ArchiBlur Lab as an illustrative
example pertaining to the concept of the ground
in conjunction with the Infinity Ground exhibition.
The first work, known as the Urban Archipelago
Project, is the development of a movable dwelling
that possesses the capacity to adapt its positioning
and functionality in order to cater to the specific
requirements of individuals residing in a given
locality while remaining detached from the earth’s
surface. Another example of a work is one that is
firmly fixed to the ground. The central courtyard of
CYCU University is the subject of a novel landscape
architecture design. Towards the conclusion of the
lecture, Chen poses a thought-provoking question
to the audience: How can we design an architecture
that can create a ‘dialogue’ with people, communities,
and surroundings?

The lecture titled “One Health: Inclusive Urban
Life” was delivered by Dr. Apiradee Kasemsook,
an Associate Professor and the Dean of the Faculty
of Architecture at Silpakorn University. The lecture
commenced by presenting an illustrative case study
of The Hive at Kew, an architectural creation conceived
