Timer/counter preset value (constant data) changing<br />

The preset value (constant data) of timer or counter instruction can be changed in online<br />

(during RUN) by using the programming tool.<br />

Function instruction constant operand changing<br />

The constant operand of function instruction can be changed in on-line (during RUN)<br />

by using the programming tool.<br />

Device changing<br />

The device of contact or coil instruction can be changed in on-line (during RUN) by<br />

using the programming tool.<br />

On-line program changing<br />

When the <strong>T1</strong>S’s memory mode is 4 k mode, the program can be changed using<br />

normal edit mode. (rung by rung)<br />

In the on-line program changing, it is not allowed to change the number or order of the<br />

following instructions.<br />

END, MCS, MCR, JCS, JCR, FOR, NEXT, CALL, SUBR, RET, IRET<br />

The above on-line functions are performed on the RAM memory. Therefore,<br />

when program has been changed, execute the EEPROM write operation<br />

before turning off power. Otherwise, program stored in the EEPROM will be<br />

overwritten.<br />

On-line EEPROM write<br />

The EEPROM write is possible in on-line (during RUN) as well as in HALT mode.<br />

In the on-line EEPROM write, user data is not written into the EEPROM.<br />

During this operation, the <strong>T1</strong>-<strong>16S</strong>’s scan time becomes longer. However, as it has the<br />

time limit per scan, the <strong>T1</strong>-<strong>16S</strong>’s control operation is not stopped.<br />
