GÓTICO La modalidad del Cristo gótico doloroso, que se desarrolla en el primer tercio del siglo XIV, acentúa también las formas del paño, siendo este más voluminoso y con más pliegues. ANDALUCÍA Dibujo 13 En Andalucía el paño es más largo de lo habitual, cubriendo en muchos casos ambas rodillas. Siempre aparece sujeto con un nudo situado bajo el costado derecho. Durante el siglo XIV, el crucificado adopta una postura más natural, de cierta verticalidad, dejando caer el peso del cuerpo sobre los brazos. Sin embargo, la anatomía es todavía esquemática. El rostro severo y bello parece estar dormido. 189
