Single Point Order Tracking (E/L662)<br />
Single Point Order Tracking (SPOT) is defined as an<br />
Agency-wide integrated and standardized process<br />
to manage and track all resource orders for disaster<br />
supplies, equipment, services, personnel, and teams;<br />
from order to delivery to the end user or customer.<br />
This course provides the step-by-step process and<br />
business practices for single point order tracking<br />
and will provide opportunities to practice working<br />
in teams to apply the SPOT process.<br />
Selection Criteria: FEMA staff with responsibility<br />
to manage and track resource orders for disaster<br />
supplies, equipment, personnel, and teams.<br />
Prerequisite:<br />
Required: Field experience in support of multiple<br />
disaster field operations and pre-course reading<br />
assignment of the Single Point Order <strong>Management</strong><br />
and Tracking Directive.<br />

Managing Logistics Fiscal Responsibilities<br />

This course addresses the financial functions<br />
and responsibilities performed by Unit Leaders,<br />

the Joint Field Office (JFO). The course will enable<br />
participants to apply sound principles and practices<br />
involving fiscal management and accountability.<br />

This course provides participants with the knowledge<br />
and skills to successfully perform Resources<br />
Unit Leader (RESL) position-specific tasks when<br />
assigned to a Joint Field Office (JFO).<br />
Selection Criteria: Must be a trainee in this position<br />
(RESL) and have been issued the Position Task Book<br />
by a certifying Official, as outlined in the FEMA<br />
Qualification System (FQS).<br />

Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,<br />
and PowerPoint, and an active Homeland Security<br />
Information Network (HSIN) account.<br />
Recommended: ICS-300, Intermediate Incident Command<br />
System (ICS) for Expanding Incidents; IS-700.a, National<br />
Incident <strong>Management</strong> System (NIMS), An Introduction;<br />
and IS-800.b, National Response Framework (NRF), An<br />
