This 1-hour web-based course will provide all public<br />
sector employees with a fundamental understanding<br />
of continuity of operations, terms, objectives, and<br />
benefits to their organization. It gives a brief overview<br />
of the elements of a viable COOP capability.<br />
This awareness course provides information on how<br />
a COOP event might affect you, your organization,<br />
and your family, whether you are a member of your<br />
organization’s COOP team or not.<br />

provides a working knowledge of the COOP guidance.<br />
The course also provides activities to enhance<br />

Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program<br />
Manager (IS-548)<br />
This 4-hour course describes the requirements<br />
for developing a continuity program as prescribed<br />
in <strong>Federal</strong> Continuity Directive (FCD) 1, <strong>Federal</strong><br />
Executive Branch National Continuity Program and<br />
Requirements. The course covers program requirements<br />
and elements and support requirements<br />
and describes the roles and responsibilities of the<br />
Continuity Program Manager and other key players<br />
in developing a viable continuity program.<br />
Although this course directly addresses continuity<br />
requirements for <strong>Federal</strong> Executive Branch organizations,<br />
the course is also useful to State, local,<br />
territorial, and Tribal governments.<br />
