o immediately inform the customs office of destination about the discovered discrepancies and wait for
the further instruction from the customs office of destination.
- Where the transit regime has ended the authorised consignee shall return Transit Accompanying
Document – TAD to the customs office of destination within the time limit given in the authorisation.
3.1.9 Customs office of destination Customs office of departure
3.1.9.1 Presentation of goods at destination (Arrival Advice)
- Where the customs office of destination has received the notification of presentation of goods to the
customs authority (in the form of electronic message or TAD) and registered this notification with MRN,
this customs office shall notify the customs office of departure on arrival of goods using the message
“Arrival Advice” according to:
o Article 247 para. 1 of Customs Law Implementing Regulation 2 , in case of national transit regime, or
o Article 46 para. 1 of Appendix I of Convention on a common transit procedure 15 , in case of common
transit regime.
- The message “Arrival Advice” may not be used as proof of the procedure having ended within the
meaning of:
o Article 242 para. 2 of Customs Law Implementing Regulation 2 , in case of national transit regime, or
o Article 39 para. 2 of Appendix I of Convention on a common transit procedure 15 , in case of common
transit regime.
3.1.9.2 Control of goods (Control results) and ending of transit regime
- According to the Article 106 para. 1 of Customs Law 1 the transit regime shall end and the obligations of
the principal shall be met when the goods placed under the transit regime and the required documents are
produced at the customs office of destination in accordance with the provisions of the procedure in
question. This end of transit regime is registered with the same MRN (Movement Reference Number) as
the original transit declaration.
- The results of control shall be registered at the customs office of destination and they shall be forwarded
to the customs office of departure with message “Control results” at the latest on the working day
following the day the goods are presented at the customs office of destination according to:
o Article 247 para. 2 of Customs Law Implementing Regulation 2 , in case of national transit regime, or
o Article 46 para. 2 of Appendix I of Convention on a common transit procedure 15 , in case of common
transit regime.
- The message shall be used as a proof of the procedure having ended within the meaning of:
o Article 242 para. 2 of Customs Law Implementing Regulation 2 , in case of national transit regime, or
o Article 39 para. 2 of Appendix I of Convention on a common transit procedure 15 , in case of common
transit regime.
3.1.9.3 Discrepancies
- The customs office of destination or the authorised consignee may discover some discrepancies between
the transit declaration and the goods presented to the customs authorities at destination. The
identification of these discrepancies shall be forwarded to the customs office of departure as the results
of control with message “Control results” at the latest on the working day following the day the goods
are presented at the customs office of destination.
- The customs office of destination shall mark in message “Control results” whether this office is waiting
for solving the discrepancies at the customs office of departure or these discrepancies have been solved
at the customs office of destination.
