9. Click the Setup tab.<br />
10. Use the Data Input Mode drop-down list to select File<br />
11. Click the Data tab.<br />
12. Click Read Next (to select the next record) or click Select Read<br />
(to choose another record) and click OK after the selection. The<br />
program defaults to the <strong>MicroLog</strong> database in file input mode.<br />
13. Repeat steps 7 thru 12 until you have re-ID’d all of the records that<br />
you wish. Click Save to save the ID generated for the file record<br />
entered to your Output file.<br />
Exporting ASCII Data<br />
The software enables you to export data into an ASCII file, and export<br />
data to Excel and/or Microsoft Word.<br />
Exporting data into an ASCII file<br />
1. Choose an existing file to export to by clicking on the Data<br />
Management File field on the Data Management window. A<br />
Data File dialog box appears.<br />
2. Click on the desired file name.<br />
3. Click Open.<br />
4. Click the Export to ASCII File selection bar on the Data<br />
Management window. The Export to ASCII File window<br />
appears. The file you chose appears in the Data File To Give Data<br />
field.<br />
