Still no curriculum for PE at Secondary school level
General lack of trained PE teachers.
General lack of instructional/materials especially the print references at all levels.

Insufficient guidance, monitoring and evaluation of PES activities in both educational
institutions and the community;
Inadequate support to educational Institutions PES activities, this has resulted into a number
of activities being put on halt;
Private schools especially in the central regions have not taken the kick­start orientation
programme seriously;
Inadequate support to National Sports Teams for international engagement;
Limited number of staff in PES department to implement all the PES activities;
Low attendance at PES programmes by stake holders including mobilizers at local levels due
to monetory expectations;
Procurement process delays purchases hence implementation processes.
