Features
Hexal is a decorative trunking system
with a hexagonal vaulted structured
surface. Due to its modular construction
it is suitable for use both as
individual luminaires and in continuous
row arrangements. With a wide
range of optical accessories and
various mounting possibilities for
ceilings, walls or as suspended
luminaires.
Housing
Modules made from sheet steel with
impact resistant white plastic
coating, with hexagonal vaulted
structured surface.

Electrical
Emergency lighting modules are
wired as described on pages 7/10
and 7/14, with additional 3 pole
terminal block.
Luminaire module with additional
emergency lighting function with
changeover relay for use with a
second external power supply (230V
AC or DC). In the event of power
failure, the changeover relay
switches to the emergency power
supply. When this is activated, the
fluorescent lamp is restarted.
Luminaire module for T8 lamps,
additionally with E14 emergency
lighting lampholder. Use of T8 lamps
on mains supply, E14 lampholder
powered by emergency power
supply. Integrated fuse (G0, 4A/250V),
max. 40W (e.g. IT lamps), L ≤85mm,
D ≤30mm.

Lighting Technology

modules with direct light
distribution. Crossblade reflectors,
plain white louvres and prismatic
diffusers may be used with all
emergency lighting modules.
Recommended Applications
Safety lighting in accordance with
DIN VDE 0108 or as replacement
lighting. May be integrated into
Hexal trunking system
arrangements.
