Recessed downlights with advanced light control HIGHLIGHT
Double parabolic beam system

Features
Due to the double concentric
reflector system a narrow beam
characteristic is achieved in the
centre of the light circle, which is
surrounded by a soft light
distribution around its edges. The
luminaire is specially suited to
highlight special features of rooms.
Can be equipped with HIT 70/150W
lamps or QT12 lamps (max. 100W).
Housing
The recessed unit is based on a
mounting ring made from die-cast
magnesium. A three point screw
mounting ensures a secure fit in the
ceiling. The 2-way high quality
reflector system is made out of pure
aluminium. Aesthetic finish is
achieved through the white die-cast
magnesium decorative bezel with a
built-in UV- absorbing safety glass.
Electrical
Remote gearbox for HIT bulbs
(electronic or conventional)
connected via WIELAND plug
connectors. Mains connection to
gearbox through 3 pole terminal
block. Luminaires equipped with
QT12 lamps are connected via a 2
pole screw terminal block.
(Transformer not included).
Lighting Technology
The light of the HIT or QT12 lamp is
focussed by the parabolic inner
reflector and is therefore highly
concentrated and produces a high
intensity directly below the
luminaire. The outer reflector
produces a low glare light on the
edge of the lit circle. Luminaires
equipped with a softening lens
achieve a soft brightness
distribution around the lit borders.
