Generally it is still assumed th<strong>at</strong> high<br />

bay reflector luminaires are chosen<br />

only for their technical aspects and<br />

th<strong>at</strong> their appearance and housing<br />

design is unimportant. Meanwhile,<br />

the applic<strong>at</strong>ion areas for high<br />

pressure lamps and also for axially<br />

symmetrical (high bay) luminaires<br />

have changed, which shows in the<br />

special applic<strong>at</strong>ion areas such as:<br />

• Exhibition and sales pavilions,<br />

• Supermarkets and shopping aisles,<br />

• Exhibition halls and airports,<br />

• Corridors and foyers,<br />

• Ticketing halls and entrance areas,<br />

• Railway halls and motorway<br />

service st<strong>at</strong>ions.<br />

In these growing market applic<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

areas excellent illumin<strong>at</strong>ion as well<br />

as appealing design is as important<br />

as high technology.<br />

Our ASTER product range fulfils both<br />

On versions with transparent<br />

“prism<strong>at</strong>ic reflectors”, a high light<br />

output r<strong>at</strong>io (nearly 90%) is achieved<br />

due to their reflection and refractive<br />

prisms as well as a “soft” wide light<br />

distribution. The added illumin<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

on the ceiling helps to achieve a<br />

comfortable lit environment.
