Generally it is still assumed that high
bay reflector luminaires are chosen
only for their technical aspects and
that their appearance and housing
design is unimportant. Meanwhile,
the application areas for high
pressure lamps and also for axially
symmetrical (high bay) luminaires
have changed, which shows in the
special application areas such as:
• Exhibition and sales pavilions,
• Supermarkets and shopping aisles,
• Exhibition halls and airports,
• Corridors and foyers,
• Ticketing halls and entrance areas,
• Railway halls and motorway
service stations.
In these growing market application
areas excellent illumination as well
as appealing design is as important
as high technology.
Our ASTER product range fulfils both
of these criteria. It has the design as
well as the technology to be used in
industrial and decorative areas. This
is achieved with aesthetic
appearance as well as a functionally
designed housing.
On versions with transparent
“prismatic reflectors”, a high light
output ratio (nearly 90%) is achieved
due to their reflection and refractive
prisms as well as a “soft” wide light
distribution. The added illumination
on the ceiling helps to achieve a
comfortable lit environment.
