Plastered aperture ceiling ring
When luminaires are required to be installed into a cut aperture
in a plastered or similarly finished ceiling, a flange ring is
available to ensure that any rough edges are hidden. The ring has
three fixing bands and is manufactured from galvanised steel.

Backing plate
When downlights are required to be installed into certain
ceilings, for example, plasterboard, mineral fibre tiles etc., then
the weight of the luminaire can be too great for the capacity of
the supporting surface. In these cases a backing plate should be
used to spread the load of the luminaire over a wider area.
