System STREXX, the intelligent modular office solution
The design brief
The creation of a open and
harmonious light
atmosphere in the room,
based on a work place
orientated suspended
luminaire with minimal
dimensions. The luminaire
should have a direct and
indirect light distribution
that will ensure the
illumination of the ceiling as
well as illuminating the
room and therefore a
pleasant room impression
will be created. Reflective
glare and poor contrast will
be minimized even with the
close proximity to the desk.
The solution
A new luminaire technology,
which redefines the concept
of miniature. It is possible
to realize an extremely small
luminaire through
separating the direct and
indirect components,
although it still impresses
through its linear design and
outstanding elegance.
The modular lighting system
is composed of
asymmetrical direct and
symmetrical indirect
distribution modules and
connected by joint sections.
