Downlights have many uses
in lighting solutions for
architecturally demanding
areas. Lunis_S downlights
are particularly suitable for
use in areas without
suspended ceilings. For
instance, for areas with
vaulted ceilings where
suspended downlights would
otherwise be used. To date,
these products would
typically have a very deep
cylindrical steel body
containing the reflector and
control gear.

The Lunis_S has an
alternative design which is
based on the new patented
VirtualSource® reflector
technology. A special feature
of VirtualSource® is that with
horizontally mounted lamps
an even output is achieved at
all angles. The result is a
definite improvement in
visual comfort.
A feature of the reflector
design is the “CatFlap” which
permits simple and safe
lamp changes. A gentle glow
through three slots in the
CatFlap make this luminaire
instantly recognisable.
Lunis_S is compatible with
Tungsten Halogen, Metal Halide
and Compact Fluorescent lamps.
The luminaire is equipped with
electronic control gear in the
interests of economic running. In
combination with the custom
reflector system this luminaire
achieves new levels of performance.
The newly released Multipower
Version of Lunis_S is able to drive
three different lamp wattages
(TC-TEL 26W, 32W, 42W) in a single
luminaire giving additional
flexibility.
For use in conjunction with lighting
control systems electronic high
frequency dimming gear can be
