Figure 5 shows the plasma response after multiple doses of 5 mg/d lycopene comprised in<br />

capsules, tomatoes or tomato juice. Lycopene is significantly better absorbed from tomato<br />

juice and oleoresin capsules compared to raw tomatoes.
