Number of references to the interface in the routing software.<br />

State (Up or Down) and type of interface.<br />

Reflects one or more of the following recent changes to the interface:<br />

• Add—The interface was just added.<br />

• Address—The interface's link-layer address has changed.<br />

• Delete—The interface is being deleted.<br />

• Encapsulation—The type of encapsulation on the interface has changed.<br />

• Metric—The interface's metric value has changed.<br />

• MTU—The interface's maximim transmission unit size has changed.<br />

• UpDown—The interface has made an up or down transition.<br />

Number of times the interface has gone from Down to Up.<br />

Describes the link layer of the interface.<br />

Encapsulation on the interface.<br />

Speed at which the interface is running.<br />

Information about the configuration of protocols on the interface:<br />

• Address—Address configured on the interface for the protocol type.<br />

• State—State (Up or down) and type of interface.<br />

• Change—Reflects one or more of the following recent changes to the interface:<br />

• Add—The interface was just added.<br />

• Address—The interface's address has changed.<br />

• Broadcast—The interface's broadcast address has changed.<br />

• Delete—The interface is being deleted.<br />

• Netmask—The interface's netmask has changed.<br />

• UpDown—The interface has made an up or down transition.<br />

• Preference—Preference value for the route for this address.<br />

• Metric—Metric value on the interface for the protocol type.<br />

• MTU—Maximim transmission unit value of the interface.<br />

• Local address—On a point-to-point link, the address of the local side of the<br />

link. Not used for multicast links.<br />

• Destination—For a point-to-point link, the address of the remote side of the<br />

link. For multicast links, the network address.<br />
