Field Description<br />

Counts of DS3 (T3) or E3 media-specific errors.<br />

• Seconds—Number of seconds the defect has been active.<br />

• Count—Number of times that the defect has gone from inactive to active.<br />

• State—State of the error. State other than OK indicates a problem.<br />

The DS3 or E3 media-specific error types can be:<br />

• PLL Lock—Phase-locked loop out of lock<br />

• Reframing—Frame alignment recovery time<br />

• AIS—Alarm indication signal<br />

• LOF—Loss of frame<br />

• L<strong>OS</strong>—Loss of signal<br />

• IDLE—Idle code detected<br />

• YELLOW—Errors at the remote site receiver<br />

• BPV—Bipolar violation<br />

• EXZ—Excessive zeros<br />

• LCV—Line code violation<br />

• PCV—(DS3 only) Pulse code violation<br />

• CCV—(DS3 only) C-bit coding violation<br />

• FEBE—(DS3 only) Far-end block error<br />

• LES—Line error seconds<br />

• PES—(DS3 only) P-bit errored seconds<br />

• PSES—(DS3 only) P-bit errored seconds (section)<br />

• CES—(DS3 only) C-bit errored seconds<br />

• CSES—(DS3 only) C-bit severely errored seconds<br />

• SEFS—Severely errored framing seconds<br />

• UAS—Unavailable seconds<br />

Information about the HDLC configuration.<br />

• Policing bucket—Configured state of the receiving policer.<br />

• Shaping bucket—Configured state of the transmitting shaper.<br />

• Giant threshold—Giant threshold programmed into the hardware.<br />

• Runt threshold—Runt threshold programmed into the hardware.<br />

• Idle cycle flag—Idle cycle flags.<br />

• Start end flag—Start and end flag.<br />
